GippSport is one of nine Regional Sports Assemblies that formulate Regional Sport Victoria (RSV). GippSport is an incorporated not-for-profit organisation which was established in 1992 to operate across all six local government areas of the Gippsland Region.

The Gippsland Region extends from Phillip Island to Mallacoota with an estimated population of 250,000 and covers approximately 44,000 square kilometres.

GippSport is committed to developing strong partnerships, especially with its funding providers, local government and Primary Care Partnerships.

GippSport will deliver the following programs across the Gippsland region:

  • Regional Sport Program which is funded by VicHealth
  • Access for All Abilities which is funded by  Sport and Recreation Victoria
  • Regional Sport and Recreation which is funded by Sport and Recreation Victoria
  • Deadly Sport Gippsland which is funded by Department of Health and Human Services
  • Good Sports which is funded by the Australian Drug Foundation
  • Most Disciplined Player and Thank You Volunteer Programs
